Monstera is a pen and ink on paper by Ami Rathmill, featuring layers of exquisitely detailed cheese plant leaves. The framed piece measures 40cm x 30cm.

Ami is a local artist living in Canterbury, Since studying Fine Art in 2006, she has continued to keep in touch with her creative side both in her role as a mother and in her professional life. Drawing has always been her safe space, somewhere to both get lost and feel at home. Ami enjoys layering chaos with finer details, and although she starts each piece with a plan, her process is very organic.
